What to do & avoid before the treatment?
Arrive with Clean Skin. Ensure your face is free from makeup, lotions, oils, and sunscreen. Clean skin helps the BioRePeel penetrate effectively.
Consult About Medications. If you are using retinoids, topical acne medications, or any other prescription treatments, inform your provider, as these may need to be paused for a few days before the treatment.
No Sun Exposure or Tanning. Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, or self-tanners for at least 1-2 weeks before the treatment, as suntanned or tanned skin may be too sensitive for the peel.
Stop Using Active Skincare Ingredients. Discontinue retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, benzoyl peroxide, and exfoliating scrubs for at least 3-5 days before your appointment to minimize skin irritation.
No Chemical Peels or Other Harsh Treatments. Avoid other chemical peels, microdermabrasion, or laser treatments for at least 2 weeks before your BioRePeel to prevent excessive exfoliation or irritation.
Avoid Waxing or Threading. Do not wax or thread the treatment area 1 week before your appointment to avoid skin sensitivity.
Limit Alcohol & Caffeine. Reduce your intake of alcohol and caffeine 24 hours before the treatment to minimize inflammation and skin sensitivity.
